If Veylan would now let, go of its tail he would just be a bloody flesh swimming around. The shark would have no problem at all. His only way to try pulling himself up eventually getting to damage one of its fins again.

  With all his power he pulled himself near to the fins. He again grabbed it and ripped out one of the triple fins shark fins.

  The shark was crying again in agony. It lost orientation by accident, it swam to the shore. With a big jump he finally left the water.

  Everything finally got lightly brighter, there is something that looks like a little temple. At a little spring, a humanoid fish woman sat looking at Veylan with a curious expression. As he reached the halve woman halve fish he passed out.

  “What happened?” As he woke up and started to remember everything, he ran hectically out of an unknown room for him until he encountered the fish woman: “How long was I asleep?” She looked at him happy saying playfully “Seems like mister sleep man is finally awake; do all humans sleep that much? Anyways…I think you were almost asleep for…what? Maybe over a day?”

  Veylan tried to stay calm but what problems with that “Damn it!” This place is completely unknown, alone he wouldn’t have a single chance at all. “Hey you. What’s your name? How can I get out here?” She looked at him interested saying: “My name is Miraqua. I think…I can help you out…” While perfectly imitating Veylan′s voice.

  At first, he felt confused, even creeped up but then something came to his mind.

  “But there is a problem. There is a way out, but I don’t think you are able to use the exit. To get out you need to swim up, over a whole kilometer! You would’ve got either gills or a fin. If you ask me, gills would be better; but both are similar hard to get. The only way is to kill a big triple fin shark; the one you encountered on your way was just a baby!” She said concerned.

  Veylan didn’t really worry he simply asked: “I am sorry to ask for such a favor, but couldn’t you or some other fish humans help me?” The fish woman looked at him for second until she said, “I would like to help but not long ago we had a war, if I would help you killing one would just mean again war.”

  He asked her how he could find a big triple fin shark and moved on quickly.

  When he arrived, he was in a big sea in a beautiful crystal cave.

  At the edge of the shove another human sat. It was another participant. Veylan walked up and introduced himself. The other participants’ name was Yodi, both wanted to get out but there was something Veylan noticed his badge number: ninety nine.

  He left out a big sigh: “Damn. This is Riven′s target. If I get the badge now my chances to get the gills are impossible; but if we get out together…I need to betray him…”

  Getting the badge now was no option, he would’ve concentrated now to get the gills. “Dude what is our plan? They are all together. We are already going to have great struggles to beat one!”

  Unfortunately, he was right.

  While looking around for a while they found one that looked a little alone, quickly Veylan noticed: “He is asleep, this is our chance!” Veylan stabbed it with a sharp stone in the head and Yodi into its tail, their plan was to get it on land and finish there. Veylan having the shark so near made him really see how much bigger those are.

  Pulling it towards them, Yodi′s stone slipped out of its tail because it wasn’t deep enough. Its tail being freed slapped Veylan, also losing it. “Dude how should we do this? It’s your fault!”

  Veylan was already annoyed but stayed silent, after he got the gills, he would simply just walk away.

  After multiple attempts and Yodi making Veylan responsible made him realize how long they have already done this. This made him one thing again clear like water; I can’t waste any more time! But at least it has one good thing, I am going to get at least Riven′s target, Yodi is going to run away as fast as possible the moment he has gills or a fin.”

  A failed attempt later Veylan slightly lost his temper “We are going to kill one!”

  Same strategy only that both took bigger stones, everything happened like always. Yodi was too weak or maybe wasn’t committed enough to hold it and let go again.

  Right before he would’ve get hit again, he jumped on his back, if he would fall off now. It would be the end.

  It fidgets around with its full strength trying to get Veylan down. But he continues to stab over and over again. The beautiful water becomes red. After time he notices that the shark stopped moving or resisting: “Finally.” But he had another problem now.

  He was in the middle of this sea, and he was going down with big triple fin shark.

  As he went down and the other sharks came slowly nearer something happened only under certain conditions.

  Back when Veylan made his way to the exam, he faced death constantly, but he never had such a strong feeling of losing something, he never felt that he made it so far and it could be for nothing.

  He was letting out his aura, it really tripled. Now it is strength being really to take serios. Now even someone like Talen or even Lorken would feel a little serios threatening.

  The sharks started to take distance from him, letting him go out of the water. A moment later he collapsed on the land, barely conscious he saw Yodi hardly picking it up and slowly caring for it away.

  Using his last ounce of strength, he got up and went after Yodi, but he was still faster. Back at the temple he asked some other fishes if they saw Yodi, but they all seemed too reserved and didn’t answer.

  At the spring he saw a little map of this little water complex and the ponds, there he noticed something: all ponds are connected to each other and to the water temple.

  After getting ideas he kicked himself out of thought, his senses sharpened. There he heard a whimpering behind a stone.

  He looked at him at pity, feeling slightly bad and took the big triple fin shark and the badge for Riven.

  At Miraqua′s place he asked, “You said I need gills or a fin; how can I use them now?” She looked surprised that they even managed to do it. “Let me look…hmm…two fins are useless, but one fin and gills are useable. I have good news are going to make it out of here…”
