Chapter 128 On The Set
"Eagle Army?"
Catherine reacted immediately.
What Lucas said should be the highest level in the Boy Scouts.
The Boy Scouts are divided into six levels, and after joining the Boy Scouts, members advance by completing the skill requirements of each stage. Eagle Scout is the highest honor and the goal that every Boy Scout aspires to. However, completing the skills learning and requirements for Eagle Scout requires a great deal of enthusiasm and effort. In the United States, 25% of boys join the Boy Scouts, but only 4% eventually become Eagle Scouts.
In other words, among all Americans, only 1% of young people can become Eagle Scouts, which is really one in a hundred.
"What's your name?"
Catherine began to take an interest in this man.
"My name is Steven Spielberg."
The young man replied.
Catherine rummaged through her ears and then looked at him.
"My name is Steven Spielberg, miss."
Spielberg seems to think Catherine didn't hear him.
"Ah......oh." Catherine nodded slightly numbly.
"What's your take on the movie?" Catherine asked again.
"I love movies." Spielberg's eyes lit up, unlike George Lucas who was in college at the time, Spielberg had little hope of attending college due to poor grades, so if he could grasp the opportunity, he would not give it up.
"In fact, I completed a science fiction film 'Huoguang' by myself when I was in high school two years ago," he said.
This Catherine had seen a biography of Spielberg in class, which she knew - a 140-minute science fiction adventure film "Firelight". This $400 film earned Spielberg a profit of $100 after being shown at the local cinema.
To Catherine, this is typical of student films.
"So why did you come here?"
Catherine asked again.
"Actually, I was preparing to go to the editing department of the photography studio at California State University as an intern... To be more accurate, it's a three-day-a-week unpaid temporary internship."
"But at this time, I heard something about Mr. Lucas."
Spielberg turned his attention to George Lucas beside him.
Lucas shrugged, unfortunately, we were just one step away from becoming schoolmates.
That's right, if Spielberg was really admitted to film school, he would have been a classmate of George Lucas.
"So I decided to come to DreamWorks just like Mr. Lucas."
It sounds like a very clichéd and cheesy motivational story, but it's indeed what happened.
"I'll go talk to Eastwood later, maybe you can go help him out, he's directing Fallout 2. But everyone has their own style, just learn from it."
Spielberg's face was uncontrollably excited.
"Don't worry, boss, I will definitely work hard!"
He was so excited that he didn't know how to express his thoughts.
Catherine smiled, she knew how ruthless Spielberg would be in the future.
After everyone else had left, Catherine let out a long sigh and then tilted her head to look at Elsa.
"Ailsa, are you interested in the work of a secretary?"
"Secretary?" Elsa thought for a moment, but seemed somewhat unclear about this concept.
"The secretary is someone who helps me get the work done," Catherine said.
"May I...?"
Catherine nodded.
"Only you can, Elsa." Catherine looked at Elsa with hopeful eyes.
Elsa looked at Catherine's eyes, she almost didn't hesitate, and immediately nodded her head heavily.
"Great, Elsa!"
Catherine smiled and hugged him back.
And at this moment, taking advantage of no one around, Catherine quickly touched Elsa's lips with a kiss.
"Leave it for tonight..." Catherine's words made Elsa blush all over her face.
"Alright, we also... uh?"
Catherine found another shooting location, which was surprisingly still brightly lit.
On the other side, it just so happens to be a filming location for "Fallout".
Catherine happened to see Eastwood and Bruce Lee who had just arrived on this side discussing something.
"What are you doing."
Bruce Lee just came back last month - at the beginning of the year, Bruce Lee's son Li Guohao was born, and Catherine specially gave him a holiday.
"We were discussing some martial arts moves."
Bruce Lee replied.
"Hasn't 'Dusk Steel' started yet?" Catherine asked.
Li Xiaolong is one of the main actors in "Fallout 3: Broken Steel" - "Broken Steel" is a subtitle, actually, each episode of Fallout has a subtitle taken by Catherine.
They are "Fallout 1: Dust Survivors", "Fallout 2: Eden" and "Fallout 3: Broken Steel". The first two have already been filmed, but the third is still in intense production. Eastwood can now be said to be both a director and an actor, busy with joy.
"Right, but I think some of the prepared content may need to be completed. In the plan, the Eastern Brotherhood is a very backward organization, so they will pay more attention to action than the Western Brotherhood. We need thrilling fights. But Mr. Li often solves the fight that needs three minutes in just three seconds..."
Eastwood shook his head.
Indeed.
If it's on a stage, many people can look down on Bruce Lee, but if it's street fighting, Bruce Lee can beat the other person to the point where they can't find their way north.
The famous "Ultimate Fighting Championship" can be said to have appeared because of Bruce Lee.
Catherine nodded.
"But I think that fighting doesn't necessarily require so-called time, we need speed, ferocity and strength. To defeat the enemy in an instant, this is what we need to do."
"But then the audience won't get a full visual experience..." Eastwood still seemed somewhat unconvinced.
Bruce Lee was also a director, of course, that was later. His self-directed and self-acted "The Big Boss" was very well received, even creating Hong Kong's box office record, it can be seen that Bruce Lee also had a good talent in this aspect.
Now, two directors who have yet to fully form their own styles are struggling for their respective ideals.
"Gentlemen, I have an idea."
Catherine suddenly interjected.
"You can totally film two versions of the fight and then let the audience decide which one they like better, we'll choose that version when we do the final editing."
Catherine said.
The two of them exchanged a glance and then it was decided just like that.
Everything is decided by the market, this is Catherine's strategy.
Maybe later Catherine can shoot some weird TV dramas, launch some weird products, but that's not now, it's when Catherine really becomes a person with enough money and power.
