The lord of Dandasuka sat on a big stone placed at the side of the place where Ivaan was tied up, “You know, when souls come into our hells for the punishments of their sins, we hold back intentionally. We have to follow the rules made by lord Yama, which state that we will give specific punishment to a soul with a specific sin.

  “But you” The lord stood up, “you are not a normal soul and you don’t have normal sins after you helped one of the lords to escape the hell, for such a thing there is no specific punishment which I why we put you in such a beautiful place which doesn’t belong to any hell, and after a lot of brainstorming we all have decided to honor you with every existing punishment in hell.”

  “But as we all lords are so generous, you have an advantage which no soul had; if you will tell us how you helped the lord of Krimisha escape hell, then the punishments will be stopped immediately.”

  “Really?”

  “Yes, really,” said the lord, “if you answer me now, then I will stop all of this right now, and you’ll be sent to earth to live your life.”

  “That sounds like a wonderful Idea,” said Ivaan, “I don’t give a shit about your punishment or your offer.”

  “I expected nothing less,” said the lord, “but this is how hell works, you make some choices in your life on earth and you pay for the consequences of your actions here.”

  Two lords appeared from the darkness around Ivaan.

  “These people are here to serve you,” said the lord by glancing at the two lords standing behind, “you know these two volunteered for this, they would love to try different things with you.”

  Ivaan glared at all three of them.

  The lord started walking away, “Remember,” the lord said while turning around, glancing at them, “he should be fulfilled by your services.” And he disappeared in the darkness.

  As he came outside of that place, a Yamaduta was standing in front of him.

  “What is it?” asked the lord

  “Lord Yama has summoned all the lords in court,” said the Yamaduta, “ok, I’ll come. Go and tell the other lords also.”

  And the Yamaduta disappeared.

  This was supposed to happen; one lord of hell is missing from the hells, which is a huge concern, and now that lord Yama knows about it, he will not take it lightly, and he won’t spare anyone. I just hope that he leaves all the work on us so that we will be able to control the situation; otherwise, Lord Yama will do it by himself, and it’ll not be good for anyone.

  All the lords reached lord Yama's court within time.

  “I suppose, all of you know why I have called you,” said Lord Yama while sitting on his throne.

  “The lord of Krimisha is missing from hell,” said Lord Yama

  “We also heard about that, lord Yama,” said lord of Dandasuka from the group.

  “Where is he?” asked Lord Yama, and there was silence all around the court. “I asked Where is he?”

  All the lords were silent.

  “One of you gets disappeared and you all know nothing about it,” shouted lord Yama, “looks like we have to make punishments for you also.”

  “We only know that the lord of Krimisha disappeared near the portal through which the souls move from hell to earth.” Said the lord of Avici

  “Don’t lie,” shouted Lord Yama, “We all know that they are Yamadutas who guard the place; he couldn’t have gone from there, as Yamadutas know whether the person crossing is a soul or not.”

  “It's true, lord Yama,” said the lord of Dandasuka, “he disappeared near that place according to the Yamadutas.”

  “I can’t believe that,” said Lord Yama, “even if he disguises himself, he cannot escape Yamadutas as they know the difference between a divine entity and a mere soul.”

  “We are also confused, sire.” Said the lord of Avici

  “And still not one of you considered informing me about this,” said Lord Yama.

  “We were about to, sire.”

  “But you didn’t, anyway.” Said the lord Yama, “It doesn’t matter how he escaped, the thing which matters now that he is on earth and definitely with not a good intention, send some Yamadutas on earth to find him and bring him back here, and after that I’ll see what to do with him.”

  “As you say, lord Yama,” said all of the lords standing in front of them.

  “I’ve also heard that Yamadutas find all of the souls near the portal,” said Lord Yama

  “Yes, we did, sire,” said the lord of Tamisra, “and most probably these souls have used their magical knowledge to help the lord of Krimisha escape.”

  “So, what are you all doing to these souls?” asked lord Yama

  “We have kept them in the Krimisha hell, but there’s no one to continue all of their punishments,” said the lord of Dandasuka

  “That is not good,” said lord Yama, “did any soul tell anything about how they helped lord of Krimisha escape?”

  “No, lord Yama,” said the lord, “these souls aren’t telling anything.”

  “Is there any soul missing with the lord of Krimisha?” asked lord Yama

  All the Lords looked at each other.

  “Yes, sire, one soul is missing with the lord of Krimisha,” said the lord of Dandasuka, “that soul also went to earth with the lord of Krimisha.”

  “Who is it?” asked Lord Yama

  “The soul’s name is Ivaan,”

  “Ivaan… this is not good at all,”

  “Do anything but find him,” said lord Yama, “for once you can miss lord of Krimisha, but I want Ivaan back into hell.”

  “But why place so much value in mere soul, Lord Yama?” asked the lord of Dandasuka.

  “He is far more valuable than any of you. Find Ivaan first and bring him back here,” said lord Yama, “now all of you are dismissed, go back to your places.”

  All of the lord left lord Yama’s court.

  The lord of Dandasuka who held Ivaan captive returned to him.

  The lord came to him and threw a bucket of boiling lava on him.

  “Ahhhhhhhhhhh” Ivaan screamed in pain as his upper skin started burning, and the lava passed from his skin to the muscles.

  “How is it?” asked the lord, “Do you like it?”

  Ivaan was still screaming in pain, “good…good,” said the lord.

  “Now tell me, what is so special about you that lord Yama himself is so worried about you missing from hell?” asked the lord

  While Ivaan’s whole body was bleeding severely and was shivering in pain.

  “Tell me, or the next thing will be worse than this one,”

  Ivaan was groaning in pain, but he wasn’t able to speak.

  “What?!” asked the lord by moving his ear closer to him, “are you not being able to speak because of pain, good! Let me help you.” he poured another bucket of lava on him.

  He started screaming more loudly as lava started to burn his bones and muscles.

  “Do you know this is the fun part of hell?” said the lord with a smile on his face, “your skin, muscles, and bones will reform by tomorrow, and you’ll be whole again. Then I will come again and I will do a lot of interesting stuff to you, and then again, your body will be recovered by tomorrow, and the cycle will repeat, isn’t it fascinating?”

  “Usually, the souls in hell are punished only for specific durations, but you, you are special, you have unlimited time here,” said the lord, “this thing will keep happening until you answer all of our questions,” and then he went out of that secret place.

  When he came out, he found all the lords standing outside,

  “Why are all of you standing here?” said the lord, “I told you not to come here. If someone spots us, then lord Yama will not spare any of us.”

  “That is the only thing for which we have come here to talk about,” said the lord of Avici

  “What is there to talk about this?”

  “We should give Ivaan to Lord Yama,” said the lord, “otherwise, if somehow Lord Yama found out about this, then he will punish us.”

  “Are you all crazy?” the lord of Dandasuka shouted, “What do you all think, if we told lord Yama that we have been hiding him here all the time and lying, he will not forgive us at all. We have said that he is on earth and they will keep searching for him there, and there will be no trouble in keeping him captive here.”

  “But what if somehow lord Yama found out?” asked lord of Tamisra

  “If he did, what would happen? He’ll punish us,” said the lord, “but if he didn’t, then nothing would happen to us. But if he told him about this, then he will definitely punish us, and there will be nothing we will be able to do. So be smart.”

  “So did he tell anything?” he asked

  “He isn’t in the condition to speak,” the lord said with a smirk, all of them grinned.

  “So, what do you think? What can be so special in him that lord Yama is so stressed about him?”

  “This is a thing which is triggering me also.” Said the lord, “he knows a lot, and it is really important for us to make him spit out all of his secrets.”

  “I don’t think it will be that easy if he is so valuable,” he said

  “Which is why we will use every punishment that exists in hell on him, I’m sure. After some time, he will not be able to handle it.” Said the lord

  “So, when do we need to punish him?” asked the lord of Maharaurava

  “Now or what?” said the lord, “This is hell, here break don’t exist”.

  “So, I want to be the next,” said Lord of Maharaurava, “I want to see what is so special in his soul.”

  “Of course,” said the lord, “but don’t be easy on him.”

  The lord of Maharaurava entered into the dark place where Ivaan was chained up, he found him unconscious out of starvation; Ivaan was in his human form.
