Schedule Update/New WIP Novel Announcement

  Short Version:

Future updates will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. A new LitRPG novel is coming soon!

(800 Followers bonus chapter coming today!)

  Long Version:

  To Readers,

First, I want to thank everyone who has read Dimming Stars and supported me over the past two months.

Reaching 800 followers in such a short time was beyond anything I had ever imagined as a new author. It has been an exciting journey, and I’ve learned a lot—especially about what readers enjoy (and what they don’t). I’ve taken all your feedback to heart and will do my best to improve. So, thank you! (Especially RB, who followed me from day one and introduced me to an awesome author community. He’s the reason I’ve come this far. Thank you, RB! ??)

Now that Dimming Stars has officially completed its RS run (we even hit 9th place at one point!), I’ll be moving to a Monday/Wednesday/Friday update schedule. This will give me more time to focus on writing my upcoming LitRPG novel. I apologize in advance to anyone who’s been reading daily—please don’t be mad at me! But if you are, well… I totally get it.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

For those curious about the new novel:

It’s called "One More Follower", and it will be a first-person LitRPG/Comedy. I know some readers aren’t big fans of first-person stories, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take.

If anyone is interested, I’ll be having my Patreon members (Patreon is completely free for now) and a few author friends beta read the prologue in a couple of days. Feel free to join if you’d like to participate!

(Totally didn’t know there’s a minimum word count for chapters… well, this is awkward. Let's write something I guess.)

Kai stared at his reflection in the mirror. His hair was getting long again—past his forehead, nearly covering his eyes. Maybe it was time for a haircut.

Eliana could probably do it for him, but the last time he asked her, someone got hit by space debris, and he ended up doing some very dangerous mining in a cosmic maelstrom. Not exactly great memories.

He ran a hand through his hair. It was just long enough to be annoying but just short enough that he couldn’t tie it into a man bun.

With a sigh, he decided to trim the strands that were threatening to block his vision. How hard could it be?

He crouched down and rummaged through the cabinet under the sink, quickly finding a pair of scissors among the other hair-cutting tools. The scissors felt light in his hands. He spun them a few times for no reason then lifted them to his forehead.

The floor shook slightly beneath him, it felt like an adjustment from the gravity generator, but Kai wasn't entirely sure.

He slowly put the scissors back down.

He’d had enough signs from the universe to know when not to push his luck.

Neatly tucking the scissors back in their place, he walked out of the bathroom, deciding to leave fate (and his hair) in more capable hands.
