  Iseri swiftly cuts off Death’s head, killing it and leaving the body dead on the ground…he picks up Hadane and brings her somewhere else, she opens her eyes and sees Iseri laying her on a bench, he begins to look up at the sky, he sees the Fortress has flown even further from Earth

  Inside Agante’s Fortress, Ikutaro, Kya and Kyo are fighting through hordes of enemies in the fortress as it flies further and further up.

  Ikutaro: How many monsters does she have on call?

  Kya: Doesn’t matter

  Kya slashes through another minion as Kyo blocks an enemy

  Kyo: That coward will have to face us eventually

  Ikutaro: I bet she would have too

  Ikutaro shoots currents of mercury at the minions

  Kya: She will and-

  Kya’s next sword strike is blocked by a glowy fist, followed by the face of Atagne herself

  Atagne: Surprise

  Atagne throws Kya across the room as she rushes with her sword towards Kyo

  Atagne: Figured I’d let my minions in on the fight

  She tries to cleave Kyo in two but Kyo dodges and Atagne begins chasing him

  Kya: Oh no, Ikutaro we gotta chase after them

  Ikutaro: On it

  Kyo runs down the hallway and then slides down the stairs with Atagne hot on his heels, firing blasts of solar energy and trying to skewer him with her sword

  Kyo ends up in a throne room with Atagne holding him at bladepoint

  Kyo: Ok…so you’ve got me here?

  Atagne: Once I finally kill you…I’ll be able to live forever

  Atagne tries to stab Kyo but a mercurial jet from Ikutaro hits Atagne in the back of the head, diverting her aim, causing the sword to jive to the side

  Ikutaro: Missing us?

  Kya: I said I’d kill you myself

  Atagne: Ok heroes, come and try

  Atagne rushes at Kya but Kya parries, Ikutaro tries blasting her but Atagne blocks the shot, Kyo runs up from behind Atagne and tries to impale her but Atagne dodges expertly

  Kya: Enough

  Kya tries to cleave Atagne in half but she dodges and instead runs through Ikutaro with her sword

  Ikutaro: Victory or death eh…it’s up to you two now…

  Atagne discards Ikutaro’s body by throwing it aside

  Kya: I think you’ve finally crossed one-two many lines, I think I shall use every ounce of rage in my body to turn you into ash

  Kyo: And I shall help her vanquish you

  Atagne: You’re lucky to try

  Fight against Atagne

  When Atagne is at 90% health

  Atagne: How about you two make this easier on yourself and let me kill you?

  Kya: How about you make this easier and kill yourself?

  Kyo: I will do anything to be rid of your influence

  Atagne: Maybe you should give up and let me kill you

  When Atagne is at 10% health

  When Atagne is defeated, she falls to the ground and Kyo and Kya both slice her limbs off before throwing her body against the throne and lopping off her head

  Kya: Now we must return to Earth

  They go outside and see that they can see the stars from where they are and that the clouds are below them…

  Kyo: So this is what she meant by it not mattering in the end…

  Kya: She’s trying to kill us as well…an act of true cowardice

  Kyo: How will I be able to make my own life if I die drifting into space?

  Kya: Well…we have each other and I know there isn’t a place I’d rather be then at your side…

  Kyo: Ya know…I feel the same way…ok…let’s go into the final frontier together

  Kya and Kyo continue looking at the stars from the floating fortress, drifting closer and closer to space…
