Before reaching the Bronze Body stage, players had almost no way of increasing their elemental affinity, because in the Black Iron stage, elemental affinity was rarely needed.
Only after reaching the Bronze Body could players undergo Elemental Awakening. Once awakened, all professions could increase their elemental affinity. They would also gain equipment and glyphs that enhance elemental affinity, or even treasures.
Below level 30, players only have the following equipment slots available:[Helmet],[Left Earring],[Right Earring],[Necklace],[Left Finger Ring],[Right Finger Ring],[Chestplate],[Bracers],[Leggings],[Boots],[Left Hand Held],[Right Hand Held]. Slots like treasure, glyph, and additional rings for both hands must be unlocked upon reaching Bronze Body.
Now that Kenley had earned the Honorary Paladin title, he could use Light Magic. With this 30% light elemental affinity, it meant a boost to his paladin's light magic. Additionally, when facing enemies that used light magic, he would also receive a 30% damage reduction.
This was fantastic! If he went up against dark creatures, he would practically be a mini Necromancer Slayer. Everywhere he went, he would hear the wails of Undead and Necromancer types. Dark creatures below level 30 would probably avoid him, right? This was going to be great!
While thinking about this, Kenley stepped into the potion shop. As soon as he entered, he heard the pleasant sound of wind chimes. He knew it was the chimes that Green loved so much; she would often play with them when she had nothing else to do.
"Who's there? Looking to buy potions or powders?"
A lazy voice came through, sending a tingle down Kenley's spine.
Just as he expected, it was the same personality and lazy attitude, as if nothing could pique her interest.
"Green, I want to become your apprentice and learn alchemy." Kenley didn't waste any time and went straight to the point. He knew Green's style well; it was best not to beat around the bush when talking to her, or she would just stare at you with annoyance.
"Become my apprentice?" At that moment, Kenley saw a woman wearing a magician's hat so large it could be used as a blanket. She slowly raised her head. The face that appeared was that of a mature woman, full of allure. Her dark skin gave the illusion of being mismatched with her face, and her crimson red pupils glinted with a mesmerizing light. As she spoke, she looked at Kenley with a puzzled gaze.
What bothered Kenley the most was her impossibly large chest. It was ridiculous. Green always wore outfits that showed off her chest, as if she were making sure everyone knew she had an impressive pair. She looked like a walking weapon. If it weren't for the small piece of cloth barely covering her, Kenley would have suspected that with just a slight bend of her waist, he'd see things he shouldn't.

It was too big, far too big. Kenley furrowed his brows and quickly turned his gaze to her eyes, trying his best not to look at her body.
Green wore a black, off-shoulder mage robe, and her pink lips, coated with some kind of mysterious lipstick, gleamed with an alluring shine. Her high nose gave off an air of arrogance, but her eyes remained lazily indifferent, as though nothing interested her. Her gray, lightning-like long hair was unique, and when Kenley first saw her, he was immediately drawn to her striking appearance. Even now, he still found her image captivating.
"Not bad, I want to become your apprentice," Kenley reiterated.
Green scanned Kenley from head to toe, but her gaze seemed unconcerned, almost detached. After a long pause, she finally said,"Three gold coins."
"Three gold coins?" Kenley was shocked. When he had tried to learn from her before, it only cost ten silver coins. This was thirty times more! Why the price hike?
Kenley, puzzled, immediately asked,"I heard that learning from you only costs ten silver coins. Why is it so expensive for me?"
Green lay back down, casually covering herself with her hat, and lazily muttered,"Because you're ugly."
Kenley was stunned. His charm value was 85! While he might not be handsome enough to dazzle the heavens, he certainly wasn't ugly. Was his definition of "ugly" outdated? Or was Green's standard of "handsome" too advanced?
Kenley felt a sharp pang in his chest. Fine, fine, whatever. Three gold coins it is. The reason he wanted to learn from Green was that, as her apprentice, he could learn the exclusive Alchemist skill: Black Cat Potion.
This was a valuable skill, spanning the entire game from low to high levels. Whether in dungeons or treasure hunting, it was an essential potion that players couldn't do without. With his accumulated experience, he could start leveling up from level 1 and reach level 10 as an alchemist, just in time to learn Black Cat Potion.
Just as Kenley was preparing to pay the three gold coins, a loud crash came from outside the door.
"So you're hiding here." At that moment, six figures in thief attire burst into the room, their faces shadowed as they stared intently at Kenley.
Identify!
Kenley immediately sensed something was wrong. He scanned them quickly: Thieves, Human, Level 10 to 15.
What was going on? These six seemed to be targeting him. Kenley thought to himself that since Lucas and Auber were already dealt with, there shouldn't be anyone else coming after him. Where did these six come from?
Without saying a word, the six thieves drew their weapons and attacked!
Kenley furrowed his brow and instantly drew his Imperial Sword from behind him.
Clang! A sharp, ringing sound echoed as the leader of the thieves collided with Kenley's weapon. As the leader engaged Kenley, the other five immediately rushed in, surrounding him from all sides.
Kenley kicked the level 15 thief leader away with a powerful strike. Thanks to his Strength +5 gem, plus the natural strength of a warrior, the thief was completely caught off guard by Kenley's force and was sent crashing into the door.
The other thieves were momentarily stunned, but they quickly regained their composure and pressed the attack.
Because Kenley had sent the leader flying, there was now a gap in their temporary formation. He swiftly repositioned himself to where the leader had been.
Before the leader could recover, Kenley knew he had to quickly reduce the number of enemies.
"Die!" One of the thieves, wielding a dagger in his right hand, didn't care about Kenley's movements. He hurled a glass vial filled with eerie green liquid straight at Kenley.
